Hazelday

Privacy Policy

Updated June 2026

Hazelday is built to hold very little of you. This explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

Account: a unique identifier from Sign in with Apple. We do not receive your name or email unless you choose to share it.

Your notes: the short entries you write, and the day they belong to.

Optional details: a first name and birthday you may enter to personalize the app. These stay on your device and in your private profile.

Approximate region: if available, a coarse location (such as a country or city) may be attached to a note so a reader sees “from someone in …”. It is never precise.

How your notes are shared

A note you write may be shown to another person anonymously. They see the words and, at most, an approximate region — never your identity, account, or contact details.

You likewise receive other people’s notes anonymously.

What we never do

We do not sell your data.

We do not show you ads based on your notes.

We do not attach your name or contact details to anything you share.

Reactions and reports

We record when a note is “felt” or reported so we can keep the space kind. These records are tied to anonymous identifiers, not to your name.

Storage and deletion

Your data is stored with our backend provider on your behalf.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes your account and your entries.

Children

Hazelday is not intended for anyone under 13.
