Hazelday
Terms of Use
Updated June 2026
Welcome to Hazelday. By using the app you agree to these terms. We have kept them short and plain.
The idea
Hazelday is a quiet place to note one small thing about your day. Each day your note may be shared anonymously with another person, and you may receive a note from someone else, somewhere in the world.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping access to your device and Apple account secure.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Hazelday.
What you share
You own what you write. By posting a note you give us permission to share it anonymously with other people using Hazelday.
Do not post anything hateful, harmful, dangerous, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Do not post anything that identifies a specific person, including yourself.
Notes are shared anonymously, but anonymity is never absolute. Please treat anything you write as something a stranger could read.
Reporting and moderation
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Hazelday.
You can report any note you receive. Reported notes are reviewed and may be removed. Notes that gather enough reports are taken out of circulation automatically.
We act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours: the note is removed and the person who posted it may be ejected from Hazelday.
We may suspend or remove access for anyone who repeatedly breaks these rules.
The app is provided as-is
Hazelday is offered without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and to keep your words safe, but we cannot promise the service will always be available or error-free.
To the extent the law allows, Hazelday and its makers are not liable for any indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms as Hazelday grows. If we make a meaningful change we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Hazelday means you accept the current terms.
